Police said they are investigating the assault of a man outside a Fort Worth Wal-Mart Friday evening. [[309297531,C]]
Fort Worth police said they found the victim passed out in the parking lot in front of the garden center of the Wal-Mart in the 8400 block of Anderson Boulevard at 6:57 p.m.
Surveillance video showed a black four-door vehicle stop near the victim as he walked toward the store. Police said the driver exited and appeared to strike the victim. A passenger also exited the vehicle, but it was unclear if he assaulted the victim.
The two men then drove away.
The victim had a bump on the back of his head and a scrape on his right elbow. He told police he did not remember just before or during the assault.
