Friday morning storms exit, more possible this weekend

An active weather pattern keeps storms in the forecast

After a rough week of storms already, more storms are in the forecast. A few rounds of storms can be expected through early next week.

A Flood Watch is in effect for the majority of North Texas through Friday evening has been canceled.

A River Flood Warning is still in effect for several counties.

After showers and thunderstorms exit the area Friday will feature partly sunny skies are expected for the rest of the day.

While it's there will be plenty of dry time this weekend, additional storms will be possible both Saturday and Sunday.

After a wet stretch of weather, the overnight showers and storms are pushing out this morning. There's a low chance for a shower or thunderstorm to redevelop, but otherwise clouds will gradually give way to partial sunshine this afternoon.
