The Garland Fire Department is now investigating the cause of a fire at a recycling facility along the 300 block of S. International Road, not far from the intersection of Forest Lane and S. Shiloh Road.
The one-alarm fire was first reported at about 12:15 p.m. Thursday.
When Texas Sky Ranger first arrived over the fire, large plumes of black and brown smoke could be seen pushing east over Shiloh Road toward downtown Garland.
No injuries were reported.
