Shots were fired outside of Town East Mall in Mesquite Thursday afternoon.
The shots were fired after an altercation in the parking lot of the shopping center.
Two men and one woman were detained in connection with the shooting and taken into custody.
A rifle and handgun were recovered at the scene.

No injuries were reported but some vehicles did have bullet holes from the gunfire.
