The search for a missing Fort Worth pastor's wife ended Sunday.
On Sunday, a family spokesman confirmed 47-year-old Melissa Sue Hill was alive and at home with her husband, Tim Hill, Sr.
Tim Hill, Sr. the pastor of Forgiven Church in Fort Worth released this statement Sunday afternoon:
"My wife became overwhelmed from the pressures we carry for so many. This was my failing for paying so much attention to the needs of others and not noticing the signals in my own home. Melissa was in a Fort Worth hotel - she contacted me this morning, I have taken her to hospital and notified authorities. I'm thankful to God, to the law enforcement agencies and to the outpouring of love, prayers and support from our church."
The Parker County Sheriff's Department said Hill was last seen leaving a Walmart on Hulen Street in Fort Worth on Friday night.
In the sheriff's statement released Saturday, Tim Hill said it's unusual for his wife to leave without notifying her family. "Nothing like this has happened in our 29 years of marriage," Hill said.
Melissa Hill is the mother of three children, ages 18, 23 and 25. She is also a grandmother to two children.
