Folks are watching a Texas Department of Transportation camera in Irving after red-tailed hawk chick hatched on camera.
Red-tailed hawks have been nesting below the TxDOT camera along State Highway 114 at Rochelle Boulevard.
On Wednesday, the egg hatched and the chick emerged.
An NBC 5 camera one of the parents leaving the nest for food and circling around the nest Thursday.
