A brand new shopping center may be on its way to one of the hottest real estate markets in the Dallas area. Trammell Crow Co. has plans to build a multi-site shopping center on a 16-acre lot north of Haskell Avenue and east of North Central Expressway.
The new project, called “Market Station,” will include dozens of retail shops and restaurants, an entertainment venue, and a parking garage. The piece of property is wedged between high dollar apartments in one of the busiest areas of town.
Initially, Sam’s Club, was proposed to fill the space, but after a battle with residents who live in the area, those plans were shut down.
The company believes it will be a vibrant destination.
