The Dallas Medical Examiner's Office confirmed to NBCDFW late Sunday the death of well-known Dallas attorney Brian Loncar. The cause of death has not been released.
The Dallas Morning News reported Sunday afternoon that Loncar, a personal injury lawyer known across Texas for his "strong arm" TV commercials, was found dead at his office in downtown Dallas. The cause of death has not yet been released.
Loncar's death comes a week after his 16-year-old daughter, Grace Loncar, committed suicide and two days after her funeral.
In her obituary, Loncar wrote that his daughter had suffered from deep depression since she was 11 years old.
More than 1,000 people attended the funeral, Loncar wrote in an emotional Facebook post following the service.
"I wish you could have seen both the pain and love that the suicide of a 16-year-old girl causes," Loncar wrote.
Attorney Pat Montes attended Texas Tech Law School with Loncar. Montes said his pain was apparent at the funeral.
