Arlington Police are investigating a double shooting Wednesday afternoon involving two new roommates.
Officials confirmed to NBC 5 that the shooting took place at the Stratton Apartment Homes on the 200 block of Hollandale Circle, on the west side of Texas 360 near East Abram Street on the city's east side, where two men go into an argument and started shooting at each other.
Sgt. Courtney White, with the Arlington Police Department, said officers were dispatched to the shooting call at about 1 p.m. and arrived to find two injured men on the ground.
Leah McVonald told NBC 5 Wednesday afternoon that she was doing some laundry and left to go to a convenience store when she spotted officers on the corner with their guns drawn. McVonald said she then saw two men on the ground covered in blood.

Police said the men were transported to area hospitals with one in stable condition and the other in critical condition. Police did not reveal the men's identities or any specifics about their injuries.
White confirmed the men were new roommates who'd only been living together about a week but said investigators have not yet determined what led to the argument and gunfire.
Investigators were also working to determine if the shooting took place inside the men's residence or in the parking lot, or both after witnesses told police that the men were heard arguing in both locations.
