Nine people were injured in a fiery crash along the southbound lanes of Interstate 35W in far North Fort Worth Thursday afternoon, MedStar ambulance confirms.
Of the nine injured, four were hospitalized and one of those was critical. Five people were treated at the scene and released.
The crash, which took place on the Golden Triangle Boulevard overpass, involved at least three vehicles including a sedan, a pickup and a tractor-trailer. A second trailer was among the damaged and burned vehicles.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.

Hazmat was called to the crash to clean fuel spilled from the big-rig. Crews continued to clear debris overnight and through early Friday morning.
TxDOT crews also inspected the bridge for damage before partially reopening the road to traffic.
