One person is dead and three others are hurt after a house fire in Sansom Park.

The fire started just after 9 a.m Saturday in the 5300 block of Calloway Street.

Investigators said four people were inside the home at the time of the fire. A woman, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner as 35-year-old Roxanne Flores, later died at the hospital.

Two other people remained in critical condition at Parkland Hospital. The fourth was expected to be OK.

A witness driving by noticed smoke and tried to help, reaching the father first.

"He was really like injured, but he was still trying to go inside and help his wife and his son," said Rosa Diaz. "He was trying to find a way, he was like so scared."

Neighbors told NBC 5 that a family lived in the home, and Flores was a mother, but no other information about the victims was released.

Investigators said they were trying to figure out what started the fire, but the Tarrant County Fire Marshal has ruled the cause to be accidental in nature.
