A 28-year-old Oklahoma City man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison in the sex trafficking of a 14-year-old girl.
William Vontrail Johnson was sentenced Thursday. He had pleaded guilty in March. According to prosecutors, an undercover investigator "scheduled a date" with the girl in June 2014 at an Oklahoma City hotel. The victim was then questioned by law enforcement.
Authorities say Johnson was discovered in the hotel with a key to the room where the girl was located, and photographs and videos of the girl were in his possession. Police say Johnson's Internet history showed an advertisement for the victim.
According to prosecutors, Johnson took the girl from Oklahoma to Houston, Texas, to perform sex acts.
