Business is booming in Collin County and it's having a direct impact on the housing market.
Several construction projects are underway on Texas 121 near the Dallas North Tollway big corporations like Toyota, Liberty Mutual and State Farm are relocating to the area.
The companies will bring in thousand of workers and families that need homes. Realtors say Texas has the land and incentives to make this an attractive place for companies.
"It's been driven by a number of factors including quality of life, quality of schools and tax incentives," SMU Cox Institute for Real Estate's Joseph Cahoon said.
They call the areas where corporations are developing "little cities" because apartments, restaurants and more are being built nearby.
