A man’s body has been found on a rocky slope Friday near on the east side of Lake Grapevine.
The body was found along the east dam, on rocks underneath the dam control tower near Fairway Drive south of Rockledge Park, about 40 feet from the water's edge, according to Grapevine Police Sgt. Robert Eberling.
His car was later found on the north side of the dam.
The victim was a 38-year-old white man from Lewisville, officers said. His name will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
Officials are unsure how the man's body got there or what caused his death.
Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play.
