Lewisville ISD closing five elementary schools after board vote

Lewisville ISD is shutting down five elementary schools because of declining attendance. The school board voted Monday night to close Highland Village, Garden Ridge, Creekside, Polser and BB Owen elementary schools despite concerns from parents. Education reporter Wayne Carter was at the meeting – and spoke to some of those parents.
