Lawmakers debate waiving rules for churches to add affordable housing

NBC 5’s Brittney Johnson joins Lone Star Politics to discuss the ‘Yes in God’s Backyard’ coalition, aiming to allow churches flexible rules to build affordable housing on properties they own. It’s one of several new bills working their way through the state capitol to tackle a growing housing crisis.
