Northbound Interstate 35E was reopened Wednesday night after crews shut it down earlier in the evening for repairs on the bridge crossing Lewisville Lake, officials say. [[409719035,R]]
Crews made the emergency repairs after drivers called to report deteriorating pavement Wednesday.
The closure included one to two left lanes on the bridge approaching Oak Drive.
The cause of the deterioration is unknown, but officials with the 35Express project will investigate.
