Authorities Reopen Interstate 20 After Multiple 18-Wheelers Crash

Interstate 20 was shut down for hours Monday morning after an 18-wheeler caught fire in a crash involving two other 18-wheelers in Forest Hill, police say.

Forest Hill police said they're still investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred on westbound I-20 near Wichita Street at about 3 a.m.

Drivers were diverted off I-20 at Wichita Street and could re-enter at Campus Drive. Authorities reopened the interstate at about 8:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
