Ethan Vasquez was killed after police say two felons in a stolen car ran a stop sign and crashed into the vehicle carrying him and his mother, Sandy.

Sandy Vasquez attended the service today in a wheelchair, as she had just been released from the hospital a day before and is still recovering from serious injuries suffered in the crash.
Ethan's father, Sgt. Victor Vasquez of the Cedar Hill Police Department, told mourners he would have moved "Heaven and Earth" to save his son. During his eulogy for his son, he said, "I was so excited to see the man he was going to become" and fought back tears while he said, "he was so special to me."
About 400 friends, family members and police officers with Cedar Hill and Dallas police departments packed the church.
Ethan Vasquez's siblings also spoke about their brother.

"I wish I could see him for a moment," Ethan's older brother said, "I cannot imagine life with Ethan."
The gifted and talented student was remembered as an intelligent young man that built his own computer.
