House Committee hearing over death row case begins Monday

Lawmakers saved Robert Roberson minutes before his execution by calling him to appear, but he is not testifying because of a fight between state leaders over whether it should be virtual or in person. Instead this hearing has been an effort from lawmakers and celebrity supporters to build public pressure to get him a new trial.
