Grand Prairie FD continues to help along Texas coast after Beryl

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick announced the creation of a special Senate Committee focused on preparing and recovering from major storms like Hurricane Beryl. This comes as local first responders continue their mission along the Texas coast where Beryl damaged more than a dozen counties. Grand Prairie’s Fire Department tells NBC 5’s Alicia Barrera it could be weeks before their crews return home.
