Good Samaritan calls for more safety measures to prevent drownings
A good Samaritan who jumped into action at the scene of a drowning is calling for more safety measures at a North Texas lake. This weekend a 21-year-old man died while trying to rescue a struggling swimmer at Lake Waxahachie. NBC 5’s Keenan Willard spoke with the man who brought the victim to shore, and is still struggling with this tragedy.
