A thief stole a credit card and then bought gas for as many as 30 of his friends, police said.
The gas purchases, at a Sam's Club in Westworth Village outside Fort Worth, were recorded on a surveillance camera, and police are hoping it will lead to the man.
The credit card was taken from a car in Keller in December, police said.
The man is seen on the video apparently buying gas for at least two dozen other people. At least some of them appear to be friends, police said.
"What was this guy doing in our neighborhood, taking our things?" victim Mary Coker said.
She said she was shocked when police told her what the thief had done with her card.
"We couldn't believe that," Coker said Friday. "We thought that was a strange thing to do. But it really made us mad. I thought that was pretty crazy."

The shopping spree didn't stop with gas.
The same man was caught on camera at a Walgreens in Bedford buying everything from mouthwash to allergy medicine, police said.
He also bought socks and boxer underwear at a Walmart in North Richland Hills, police said.
"We feel victimized," Coker said. "And we feel like if he did it to us, he's probably going to do it to other people or already has."
Keller detectives said the man is white, tall and slender and has dark hair. He also appears to have tattoos on his arms and on the back of his neck. He was seen driving a newer-model white Hyundai Santa Fe, police said.
"I just hope the police catch him so he doesn't do it to someone else," Coker said.
