Fuel Spill, Motorcycle Wreck Shut Down I-20 in Dallas

Authorities said a fuel spill and a subsequent wreck has shut down Interstate 20 in Dallas Monday.

Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said crews were cleaning a fuel spill when a motorcycle wrecked on eastbound I-20 near Hill City Drive at about 11:45 a.m.

Authorities said the motorcycle was on fire at one point.

An air ambulance was called to scene for the male motorcycle driver. No other injuries were reported.

The highway reopened to traffic at about 1 p.m.
