The shock is setting in for many after four family members were found dead inside a Crowley home on Sunday.
“It’s still kind of shocking right now,” said Oskar Gallardo, a friend of one of the victims.
“I honestly blacked out for a second because I couldn't believe it,” said Marco Victor, who said his girlfriend is one of the victims.
The medical examiner has not confirmed the names of the two women, one man and young girl who died. But many close to the family already know who they are. Crowley police are not saying whether this is a murder-suicide case until more evidence comes back.
Victor said his girlfriend was 18 years old.
“I’m not a person to cry, but after a while when I processed that it’s true and I saw the [police] tape around her house and all the reporters I just broke down crying,” said Victor.
Many people came to the family's home Monday to say goodbye. Friends of the victims sang a hymn at the crime scene.

Police are waiting on forensic evidence to help determine what happened Sunday that left a nine-year-old boy in the house to call for help after his four family members died.
For Victor, he said it's not going to be easy moving forward.
“I just wish she was here,” said Victor. “She knew how to handle tough situations. That's what I loved about her. She was strong."
A candlelight vigil will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Bicentennial Park to remember the four people who died.
