The city of Fort Worth is working to repair a water main break on Beach Street.
The 12-inch main line broke Friday evening.
City workers closed Beach Street from Springdale Road to Northeast 28th Street to keep traffic out of the area.
Crews were concerned about the water freezing on the roadway, but they're working to clean it up and repair the line as quickly as possible.
The city is estimating repairs could take up to six hours.
It's unknown what caused the line to break.
