A man was killed, gunned down in south Fort Worth Monday morning, police say. [[383636581,R]]
Officers were called a reports of gunshots on the 5300 block of Conroy Street, near the Interstate 35W and Interstate 20 interchange, shortly after 1 a.m, police said.
According to police, the body of a man, later identified as 26-year-old Michael Garner, was found in the road. Garner had apparently been shot several times.
Officers at the scene said the investigation was in its early stages. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
