The Fort Worth Fire Department is mourning the loss of a firefighter who died Sunday morning.
Steve Collins, an engineer, died after his battle with occupational cancer, the fire department said.
He was a firefighter with the Fort Worth Fire Department for 21 years.
According to the Fort Worth Fire Department, Collins was respected by all who knew him.
