The historic Walsh Ranch in Parker County burned down Wednesday night, on Thursday reality of the loss hit the ranch managers who lived there.

Officials said no one was at the Walsh Northstar Ranch House in 14000 block of Aledo Iona Road when the fire started at about 7:15 p.m.
Huge flames and black smoke billowing from the 4,000-square foot home could be seen for miles.
There have been no reports of injuries or word on the cause of the fire.
