Facebook Posts Bite Dallas Officer

Dallas officer brags online about injuring hospital worker

During the last five years or so, some people have clued up to the fact that putting all your business out there on the Weird Wide Web might not be such a good idea.

Some people, not all.

A Dallas police officer looks to be learning that come-back-to-bite-ya-in-the-butt lesson the hard way.

According to an article in today’s Dallas Morning News, Senior Cpl. Cat Lafitte bragged on her Facebook page about nailing a hospital worker in the face with her thrown boot,, “Jerry Springer style,” for all to see.

Her police superiors were among said “all” and placed her on administrative leave pending an Internal Affairs investigation.

The investigation might not take too long. Among her other Facebook posts from earlier this week come “Pray for my enemies, for they have crossed the wrong little girl,” and “I’m at war with the DPD command staff, but so far I’m winning.”

A battle, maybe, although probably not, but the war?

Not seeing a long and fruitful DPD tenure for Senior Cpl. Lafitte, and that might not be a bad thing for the citizenry of Dallas.
