A massive fire at a plant in Missouri City, possibly caused by an explosion, has been contained.
NBC affiliate KPRC reports the blaze started shortly at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the American Materials asphalt manufacturing plant on Highway 90A.
At least one person suffered burn injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. There is no word on the individual's condition.
Firefighters were able to control the fire approximately an hour later.
