Happy Easter! After a stormy start, weโ€™ll turn mostly sunny today with highs in the mid 70s. NBC 5โ€™s Adrienne Vonn has the forecast.

Severe spring storms that developed in North Texas' western counties on Saturday night are expected to move into the Metroplex before dawn on Easter Sunday.

At 4:15 a.m., the National Weather Service canceled the tornado watch that was in effect across North Texas.

A Flood Watch remains in place for locations north and west of DFW until 9 a.m. Sunday.

With this slow-moving system, storms may move over the same areas for an extended period, increasing the risk of flooding.

Some parts of North Texas could see 2 to 3 inches of rain. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts.
