Eastbound Interstate 30 was reopened after an 18-wheeler fire forced authorities to close all lanes at Belt Line Road in Grand Prairie Monday.
Grand Prairie police tweeted late Monday that the eastbound side of I-30 would be "closed for an extended time" as crews worked to extinguish the fire. Eastbound traffic was being diverted at the President George Bush Turnpike.

Authorities opened one eastbound lane early Tuesday morning, but closed it again at about 5:30 a.m. so crews could remove the truck. Grand Prairie police said they opened all lanes at about 5:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported in the fire, and officials have not said what led to the fire or what the truck may have been hauling.
