The Texas Department of Public Safety announces that office hours for three North Texas driver's license offices will be reduced starting Monday.
DPS officials said the following offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays:
• Garland Driver License Center, 4445 Saturn Road, Ste. A
• Dallas-South Driver License Center, 39025 LBJ Service Road
• Fort Worth Driver License Center, 8301 Brentwood Stair Road
Each office uses technology that allows customers to "get in line online" by visiting dps.texas.gov/administration/driver_licensing_control/rolodex/search.asp.
Many Texans are also eligible for renewed, duplicate and updated driver's licenses and ID cards by visiting texas.gov or calling 866-357-3639.
