The Dallas Zoo wants you to come out and see its newest star, and this one isn't a baby.
Kamau is a 10-year-old lion, weighing more than 400 lbs., and he's just been released into his enclosure.
"He came to us from the Zoo Atlanta about a month and a half ago, so he's finished his quarantine process, he's getting use to his new surroundings," said Sara Squires, Dallas Zoo carnivore keeper.
Kamau came from Zoo Atlanta to be part of the breeding program.
Zoo employees say Kamau can get very vocal, roaring loud enough to hear across the zoo.
"You can catch him during the day at different points, especially at our 10:30 and 2 o'clock training sessions," said Squires.
