The Dallas Zoo had a lot to celebrate on Thursday with two zoo birthdays.
Izwi the lion, who was born at the Dallas Zoo, turned three this year.
Boipelo the hippo, the zoo’s favorite lady and “best momma around,” celebrated her 17th birthday. Both animals enjoyed sweet treats for the celebration.
