Dallas police said an officer was involved in a vehicle crash Wednesday night.
Authorities said the officer was turning left from Miller Road to Plano Road when a man driving a sedan crashed into his squad car at 8:26 p.m.
Police said the officer was transported to Medical City Dallas Hospital with minor injuries from the airbag deploying.
The sedan driver — a 19-year-old male — was treated at the scene and released, according to authorities.
The intersection was partially closed during the investigation.
