A 10-year-old with a mental disability was found safe on Saturday after being reported missing Friday night.
The child's mother told NBC 5 that the girl ran away during an exchange with her sister, who helped watch the kids while she was at work. She said something triggered the child to run away from the group and that the family tried to catch up to her but had young children and couldn't reach the child.
Dallas police said she was safely located on Saturday.
