Dallas-based Taylor Farms Texas Inc. is recalling a ready-to-eat Caesar salad with chicken sold at H-E-B due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The recall is because anchovies, which some people are allergic to, are not declared on the product label.
The products being recalled are 9.75 ounce packages of "HEB Shake, Rattle & Bowl Caesar Salad With Chicken" that have a best-by date of May 18, 2019.
The salads have the number "EST. P-34744" on the USDA inspection marker.
FSIS said there have not been any negative reactions to the salads reported, but urged people who have the products in their refrigerators not to consume them.
HEB locations in North Texas include Burleson, Cleburne, Ennis, Granbury, Hudson Oaks and Waxahachie.
