Crime investigation near Crowley elementary school prompts daylong closure
Parents were caught off guard when Hargrave Elementary in Crowley shut down for the day due to a nearby criminal investigation. While there was no direct threat to the school, law enforcement asked that it remain closed as deputies worked a crime scene on a road adjacent to campus.
