A body was recovered Friday from a vehicle found submerged in the Trinity River in south Dallas, officials say.
Dallas Fire-Rescue was called just before 9 a.m. to investigate reports of a vehicle spotted in the water, alongside a bike trail near the 5900 block of Elam Road.
Only the truck's roof was visible above the water's surface.
First responders said a body was found inside the truck, but the person's identity was not immediately known.
The medical examiner's office will determine the identity.
Additional details were not released.
