The Dallas Fire Department battled a fire at an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Park Lane Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded to the fire at 1:23 p.m. at the Stone Manor Apartments in northwest Dallas.
When firefighters arrived at the 2-story apartment complex, they could see heavy fire coming through the roof of one of the buildings.
The fire went to two alarms shortly after at 1:32 p.m.

The fire caused a partial roof collapse in the original building where the fire started. A request for a three-alarm response was later made for manpower before attack teams brought the fire under control, declaring the fire out at 2:48 p.m., according to DFR.
No patients were transported to area hospitals for injuries but two people were evaluated for minor injuries and transported themselves to medical facilities, according to DFR.
At least 14 apartments sustained damage as a result of the fire, displacing 48 residents. The American Red Cross was called to assist them with their needs.
