7-Eleven, Oak Farms combine for $25,000 reward

RAW VIDEO: Surveillance video from a Garland 7-Eleven where police say a clerk was shot and killed by a masked robber.

Police say a masked person shot and killed a clerk at a Garland 7-Eleven during a robbery early Tuesday morning.

According to police, a call came in at 3:35 a.m. after a delivery man discovered the clerk's body behind the counter of the 7-Eleven location at 2509 Firewheel Parkway.

Police later identified the victim as 31-year-old Yosef Tulu, of Dallas.

As seen on video recovered from store surveillance cameras, the robber was wearing a mask or bag and carrying a rifle with a scope as he or she entered the store.  

The person then robbed Tulu before opening fire and fatally shooting the clerk.

Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and grand jury indictment of the person responsible for Tulu's murder.  The reward will remain in place for six months.

On Wednesday, 7-Eleven added a $15,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension, arrest and indictment of the person responsible for Tulu's murder.  To qualify, tipsters must provide information through Garland Crime Stoppers at 972-272-8477 or through the website www.garlandcrimestoppers.org.

Anyone with information about the murder or the person in the video is asked to call the Garland Police Department.
