Two people have been arrested in in the death of a 5-year-old boy whose body was found at a home in South Dallas.
In a statement, Dallas police said 26-year-old Tiffany Williams was charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury. Her relationship with the child was not immediately released by police.
On Tuesday, the Dallas police also arrested 74-year-old Ulysses Kizzee. He was charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury as well.
According to Dallas police, officers were called at about 11:25 a.m. to an injured child at a home on the 2800 block of Silkwood Street.

Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the home a short time later and found the child deceased.
"The preliminary investigation shows that the child has signs of trauma," police said. "The Dallas Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit will be leading the investigation."
Officials said witnesses were taken to the Child Advocacy Center for questioning.

Police revealed no further information about the child or his injuries. The investigation into the boy's death is ongoing.
Williams was taken to the Dallas County Jail. It wasn't immediately clear whether she was represented by an attorney.
Caseworkers from Texas Child Protective Services are also investigating and have had past dealings with the boy's family, a spokesperson confirmed.
But neighbors said they saw no warning signs.
"It makes me feel sad and shocked," said Ana Juarez, a mother herself who lives across the street. "They looked happy."
