Police said a man was injured when a car smashed into his bedroom on Saturday afternoon.
Cody Galofaro, 20, was napping when the car went airborne and crashed into the side of his house, trapping him underneath the vehicle.
A neighbor said he grabbed a jack from his house and tried to get Galofaro out.
"He was just screaming, 'Please get the car off me,' and that's when the paramedics showed up and took over," he said.
Galofaro, who was badly burned, remained in Parkland Hospital on Sunday.
Police said Tammy McFadden, 43, of Allen, was driving the car. Investigators said they do not what caused the crash.
"Right now, we don't have the reason why she actually lost control of the vehicle and struck the curb," Officer Gerald Marshall said. "The only thing we have are what the witnesses observed."
