Dallas firefighters confirmed the car fire at the Uplift Heights Preparatory School near the intersection of North Hampton Road and Angelina Drive at about 5:20 a.m.

Investigators said the victim was driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the school. The vehicle then caught fire.

No staff or students were in the vehicle or the building.
