A construction worker was injured Wednesday when a column collapsed at Las Colinas Elementary School.
Officials said it happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday while crews were demolishing a building at the school in the 2200 block of Kinwest Parkway.
Police tell NBC 5 a construction worker was injured in the collapse and has been transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
There are no reports of any other injuries at this time.
There were no children on the campus because school is out for the summer.
