A man whose body was pulled out of the Trinity River on Wednesday has been identified as the investigation into his death continues.
Fort Worth police told NBC 5 a body was reported floating in the Trinity River near the 3900 block of Watercourse Drive at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The body was recovered a short time later. First aid was attempted, but the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 66-year-old Mark Edward Knowles of Fort Worth. The medical examiner's preliminary report did not list a cause of death.

Police said they aren't sure how Knowles ended up in the water and that the investigation into his death is ongoing.
