A three-year-old girl was sent to the hospital after she nearly drowned in a residential pool in Fort Worth Saturday evening.
Authorities were called to a home in the 7700 block of Summerbrook Circle in northern Fort Worth just before 6 p.m. Saturday, according to Fire Lt. Gregg Russell. A family member found the girl submerged in the pool after others noticed she was missing.
CPR was performed while a family member called 911. The girl was in the water for only a short period of time, family members told firefighters.
The girl was conscious as MedStar took her to Cook Children's Medical Center, authorities said.
