Arlington Group ‘Pentatonix' Wins Grammy

Pentatonix has won the ultimate award for musicians - a Grammy.

On Monday afternoon, the Arlington a capella group accepted a Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella for their album Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

The group tweeted how grateful and excited they were for winning.

Three members of Pentatonix, Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying and Kirstin Maldonado, grew up performing at Theatre Arlington.

The group was first discovered while performing on season three of the NBC show, "The Sing Off". They won the competition in 2011.
